I have done this but in the process I have managed to break the digitizers connection on the main motherboard. One of the plastic cams that secure the pins to the ribbon cable has snapped off. I think that the connector on the mobo needs replacing. The digitizers cable is OK as far as I know. The reason I think this is the problem is because the screen randomly zooms inout and clicks on icons without me touching the screen. I hope you can help Bill.
